Every racing driver has their own design for their crash helmet.
​Here are the ones I used during my short time as a race driver.

The first helmet, used in 1986/7.
It is a replica of the Boeri helmet used by
​F1 driver Michele Alboreto in the 1980's.

The second, used in 1987 after moving into FF2000.
It's a Viper helmet in orange, 
​Mick's favourite colour!

The last, provided by Viper in 1989,
featuring a Union Jack tyre tread design.
​This helmet saw little use.

Helmet used for circuit instructing, to make sure the student can hear you, you
can't use a full face helmet!! ​

As in many sports, competitors are awarded caps for their success.
​This is, of course, the same in motor sport.

Here is the sort of cap many people will have seen, worn by the likes of Lewis Hamilton when winning F1 races on TV.
